Anxiety / Panic Attacks

Anxiety and panic attacks are difficult to control and can strike at any time. Whether taking over our thoughts or experiencing physical symptoms such as dizziness, chest pain, and nausea, struggling with these issues can prevent us from living in the present. With psychological counseling and proper therapy, you can learn to manage your anxiety and lessen the severity of panic attacks.

CBT-CP

Not all pain feels the same. Chronic pain can consist of burning, throbbing, stiffness, stabbing, etc. Sometimes pain can be associated with an injury or from an illness such as fibromyalgia or arthritis. Regardless of the pain you are experiencing, cognitive behavioral therapy for chronic pain, CBT-CP can help you cope with managing your chronic pain.

Depression

Depression can be debilitating and cause feelings of hopelessness, low self-esteem, and distorts and exaggerates your perception of reality. Therapy can help people manage negative thoughts and live the joy-filled life they once experienced.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

Trauma-informed CBT is a therapy based on CBT principles, designed to help people cope with trauma-related emotions and behaviors. It’s tailored to the unique needs of individuals who have experienced various types of trauma, such as sexual abuse, physical violence, chronic pain, or loss. The therapist helps the person understand the impact of trauma, teaches stress management skills, and aids in processing and healing from traumatic memories.

Grief and Loss

Grief and loss can come at anytime and appear differently for each individual, even when experiencing the same kind of loss. Feeling a mixture of emotions from fear, anger, sadness, and disbelief is normal when tragedy occurs. Talking about these emotions can be a healthy way to process and heal internally during these difficult times.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy

The ART of therapy is to help you heal, find relief, and discover resolution through process. The process of ART consists of using eye movements to erase negative traumic memories and/or images with positive ones. ART is based on the premise that traumatic memories are stored in a way that triggers strong physical and emotional reactions, and that these reactions can be reduced by changing the way memories are stored.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your journey to mental wellness starts here at Phusion Wellness. Here are a few answers to questions you might have about us.

Does your office accept insurance?

In order to provide the best service for our patients, our office currently does not accept insurance. In our experience, insurance creates too many hurdles for our staff and patients. By not accepting insurance, we are able to focus all our efforts on providing exceptional service for our patients.

How often do I meet with a therapist?

An individual treatment plan will be created during your first session to create therapeutic goals which will help dictate the need of how often to meet. However, we do recommend at least weekly therapy sessions during the beginning.

How does telehealth work?

At Phusion Wellness, we use a HIPAA-compliant video telehealth app that allows you to meet with your therapist from the safety and comfort of your own home. In addition, we also provide the option to come and meet in person.

What is the best way to contact your office?

Click the “Schedule Your Free Consultation” button on this page to fill out a request form. Once completed, someone from our office will contact you as soon as possible. Given the high volume of questions we receive, we can’t answer all calls, so the best way to contact us is via text message. You can text our office at: (844) 998-1156

What can I expect during my first visit?

Building trust and rapport is the cornerstone of how we achieve healthy outcomes at Phusion Wellness. During your first session, one of our mental health professionals will gather history and assessment information to create a collaborative treatment plan which includes personalized goals. At Phusion Wellness, we strive to make sure you are seen, heard, and made to feel comfortable in your new therapeutic setting.

  • Such a Great Counselor

It might not seem some sessions that I have come a long way but honestly without you and your wisdom and sound-boarding and compassion and honesty I’d be lost. I tell my people constantly about you and they are so happy I found such a great counselor. Seriously thank you for being you and your help.

  • Finally Have Hope

Living with Anxiety is horrible but living with it untreated is tricky. Finally, I found someone I am comfortable with and what we are doing is absolutely amazing. Just talking about it is bringing tears of joy to my eyes. The relief I am getting is unbelievable. We are doing ART therapy. I can honestly say for the first time I found a place that is actually helping me. One I can trust, one that I am comfortable letting my walls down, and one that they are listening. I know as many years of my battle, its going to be a process. But… I also know, I finally have hope with Phusion Wellness. Thank you Chad for giving me hope!

    Help Underlying Issues

They try and help with the underlying issues at hand. The other big thing I want to point out ... is the mental health aspect of Phusion. Part of the treatment is talking to someone. My mental health has taken an upturn in recent months.
